“Hi Andrew, I thought I’d let you know that the students (and staff!) really enjoyed their visit last week. The fact that they all had a go at holding or touching the animals, and answering questions, is really significant as most were not looking forward to meeting things like snakes and frogs!
The session was pitched just right for the level of the students. I think that learning about the one frog that we have sponsored helped to create enthusiasm as well. We’re in the process of setting up a display board featuring the Golden Mantella! The students are also in the middle of writing letters about the day they had, so we will send them on to you when they’re done.
Thanks a lot for the effort you went to to fit us in, it was much appreciated and everyone had a great day.”
