A must for anyone interested in local wildlife but not sure how to get involved: A Mammal Talk on Wednesday 4th May (7.30pm)
The third in Knowsley Safari Park’s 40th anniversary conservation talks, Tony Parker of the Merseyside and West Lancs Mammal Group will be talking on the mammals of the Northwest. He will cover their identification, biology and conservation issues. Tony will also look at the various techniques used for recording and surveying mammals and how you can get involved in local and national mammal projects. With over 35 mammal species in and around the Northwest, there really is a whole host of hidden wildlife on your doorstep!
