The Manchester Museum Youth Board, which started back in 2002, was created to provide a forum for young people to present their views and opinions on the work and future direction of the Museum.The Youth Board is open to anyone between the ages of 11-18 and meets on the second Saturday of every month. It is a fantastic opportunity to explore what happens behind the scenes in a museum, share ideas and have fun and make friends whilst doing so. Here are some images from a session where the Youth Board met the live animals from the Museum’s collection on 13th November 2010.
